salixlive64-xfce-14.2.1.iso ThinkpadT420 X Server not working

I am new to Salix and would like to see it working with a live version.

I installed on an USB stick salixlive64-xfce-14.2.1.iso

On a ThinkpadT420 I get the following error - X Server not working

The cause for this can be found in file /var/log/Xorg.0.log . If you cannot get any further with this, you can show the relevant parts, possibly the entire file content, here in a code block. Maybe someone can see the problem. It is especially important to have already updated the kernel and its environment. This can also be done without a graphical interface by running:

sudo slapt-get --install kernel-huge kernel-modules kernel-headers kernel-firmware

Then (possibly) inform the bootloader about the new kernel and then boot.
