Are these notifications controlled by the "Notify me upon replies by default" option in the UCP? I have not been receiving any notification but have just enabled that option. My initial "Welcome" or more appropriately "Bienvenue" message was in French but everything else that I've received has been in English.

If you have a look below the answer text box you'll see the "notify on new answers" checkbox. This is it about 
By default all messages should be in english, unless a user changes his language in the user control panel. After that he should receive mails in his language.

Finally I've managed to get at least the topic and pm notification mails in english. But 3.0.6 is buggy and the mail language thing will be fixed in 3.0.7.

Yeah seems to be working now. Nobody move!
The notification that I received from Thenktor's reply yesterday was still in Greek. The notifications that I started receiving last night are all in English now. Nice work.
