I confirmed this on both my laptop install and a VM install. In the Internet table of the Perferred Application utility, the Webbrowers pull down does not have any optiona to select from.

In the case of my laptop, I have both Firefox and chromium installed. I did notice that Opera did show up as an option when I had it briefly installed.

Thanks laprnjs. This is actually a small problem with the firefox package. It doesn't declare the mimetype that mate is looking for. I'll have to remember to fix it on the next firefox update.

OK, I discovered that the desktop wouldn't show after a basic mode installation because libsecret was a... secret dependency that wouldn't show. :D

I also uploaded updated firefox packages that make it show under the preferred applications window.

Hopefully we'll have an RC in the next days...
