Thanks for Salix! I am using the openbox version but I installed i3 and I am using that.
I there a package list for the Openbox version?

I'm so sorry for bumping this thread 7 years after the last post but after reading about Openbox I'm now interested in trying this out. Since I don't feel adventurous enough to install and set up Openbox on my main Salix installation (although I'll admit it doesn't look that intricate), would upgrading Salix Openbox 14.1 to the latest, shiny version be possible? Or even just trying it out in a live environment?

Installing openbox on Salix-5.0 is easy. As root or using sudo type:This will not put your system at risk.
