Just to say : thank you! Nice distro. Nice job!

Have installed a couple of days ago. Up to now everything works as expected. The only problem I got was with xfs.

Have a question about xfce4 autostart. Any place where I can find info on 'autostart'?

Thank you.

Another Salix release! Time flies. Well done, and thanks for all the work :)

Ikke, what was the problem with XFS?

XFS seems to be the favorite filesystem of Gapan. So I wanted to try it out.

Was booting via 'Grub Legacy' and Grub was not able to mount XFS RW. So I had to reformat the partition as 'ext4' and install Salix again.

Thank you.

That's perfectly normal. The old and abandoned grub you're using does not support booting from xfs.

Will a 14.2 Salix Mate Desktop release be available, with LVM & XFS UEFI support? If so, what is the release schedule?

Maybe. There is certainly no schedule for that. However, you can install Mate on top of XFCE if you like, with support for everything xfce does.
