There will be a RC3 release?
Yes, tell me when you're done with your corrections.

Helo, I have a big issue, сan you please help me?
Since slackware 15 32 bit this issue is pop out even with salix os, maybe you can help me, i tried Salix Xfce 15.0RC2 32 bit and it's have this issue after loading img, my hard drive is not corrupt, and i can install salix 14.2.1 32bit, so this problem came up from slacware 15. That PC on what i try to install OS have Motherboard 661M03C-6L and hard drive is connected with IDE port, maybe that's a problem but I can't do anything about it, because the computer is old and does not have sata ports, is it possible to return IDE support? I can install salix 14.2.1 32bit, but I can't install the new version.

This doesn't seem right. At all.

Even less so, when the icon-set has the appropriate (https://imgbb.com/mv7zDj8), unused icon ...

In Salix-dark theme the window control buttons (close, maximize, minimize) are barely visible in inactive windows (they have black foreground color on a very dark grey background color). In fact, until now I thought the buttons didn't exist at all in inactive windows. Not a big deal, I will modify the theme anyway, but still worth mentioning

I see that the subject about the theming it's not being easy...
In slackware(xfce) I just use the default: https://github.com/shimmerproject/Greybird and https://github.com/shimmerproject/elementary-xfce

Although in general the appearance of Salix 15.0 is very beautiful.

This should be fixed with the updated gtk3-nocsd package I just uploaded.

I upgraded according to the instructions rather than re-install. So it's possible I broke something when playing around with it before. Because of a strange BIOS / hardware problem, I have to perform a tweak to get audio to work; but this is not normally needed for my USB headphones. Pulse crashed, sending me a message asking me to do the following, which produced an error:

Code: Select all

mimosa[~]$ start-pulseaudio-x11
/usr/bin/pulseaudio: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libgtk3-nocsd.so.0: undefined symbol: gtk_get_major_version
mimosa[~]$
This isn't a good quality image, but you can also see the strange message I got with another screenshot utility, that failed:

Apart from that, everything has been fine so far, and it looks good!

@mimosa, did you upgrade the gtk3-nocsd package? It should be on gtk3-nocsd-20220623-x86_64-1gv now.

And does a log out/log in fix it?
