dvdrip

Post by lmello »

Here it is, along with its required dependencies!

:D

First, kindly ask slapt-get to install perl-gtk2, perl-cairo and transcode for you ;)

Then grab and install these:
perl-event-1.13-i486-1lm.txz
perl-libintl-1.16-i486-1lm.txz
dvdrip-0.98.11-i486-1lm.txz

Note that dvd::rip has many optional dependencies at run-time. One is ffmpeg, which will get installed automatically as transcode depends upon it. But the one from the Salix repository is a SVN build and dvd::rip will complain about it, so I cannot guarantee that video coding/conversion will work 100%.

Thanks a lot. Testing it when I have time (and a DVD to rip, maybe one of mine...)

I'm having issues with transcode when called by dvd::rip, mostly of the 'broken pipe' error messages.
