I noticed that the version 3.5.3 opens a documents is much slower, as compared with 3.3.2. An example for comparison:

This is a big doc. About 210 pages. And it takes long to open it.
Try this one 78 pages. Opens at once.

SalixStartUpGuide_13.37_draft4.odt - OK, but my .doc...
LibreOffice 3.5.3 - 3 minutes.
LibreOffice 3.3.2 - 10 seconds.
