I have created some salix packages and would like to introduce them to you.
Zarafa is a Collaboration platform. So it's perfect for your emails, contacts, calendaring and task scheduling. Even better, it's compatible with almost any email client regardless of the protocol used.
It's still a work in progress and my first try at packages, so suggestions are welcome.
Unfortunately they can't be in the the salix repo's yet, because slackware does not contain libical 0.44 (yet).
Please install all the packages and be certain to check the dependencies of the zarafa package.
Any post-installation issues can be first checked here:
http://www.zarafa.com/content/documentation
and here if it's not covered in the manual:
http://forums.zarafa.com/
The irc channel can be quite helpful too: irc.freenode.org channel: #zarafa
libical:
http://people.salixos.org/imar/libical/0.44/SLKBUILD
libvmime:
http://people.salixos.org/imar/libvmime/0.7.1/SLKBUILD
Note: this version contains patches made by Zarafa.
Optional; clucene-core:
http://people.salixos.org/imar/clucene- ... 1/SLKBUILD
http://people.salixos.org/imar/clucene- ... e-core.dep
Note: yes I know clucene is in the repo's and it could work with only that, but I used this version to get zarafa built, so just in case.
Zarafa:
http://people.salixos.org/imar/zarafa/6.40.0/SLKBUILD
http://people.salixos.org/imar/zarafa/6.40.0/zarafa.dep
Have fun.
Imar.
Edit 100630:
And of course, if someone does not want to build the packages himself. Forgot to post the packages I created:

Nuts, by definition limited.
Re: Zarafa 6.40.0 final package
Thanks for packaging zarafa

Yes, this is great!
What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.
