Salix OS

Hello. Cheese works well with my webcam (Gateway Netbook). However, it needs a lot of depends and takes up quite a bit of space. I have room for it on the netbook, but there a lot of cheese features I just won't use. I have gotten guvcview to work in the past and it seems to have fewer depends and the feature set I need. I think it may also be a lighter app as well.

P.S. What command do I use to find out about the webcam? I installed lshw, but I didn't see specific info. I'd like to post the specs here.
