OBApps (per-application settings - Openbox)

Post by zAchAry »

A graphical tool for configuring the per-application settings (window matching) in the Openbox window manager
Home page: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/o ... =Main_Page
Project page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/obapps/

Screenshot

I was about to ask if it can be included in the LXDE edition, but it has wxWidgets dependencies.

For this, I recommand Devil's pie :
http://burtonini.com/blog/computers/devilspie/
http://code.google.com/p/gdevilspie/

I could be used for every WM/DE. So it could be a global solution for our Salix flavours.
devilspie could be found in SBO with slapt-src.
gdevilspie is a simple python+glade app so doesn't require an installation (but I think a package could be better).
Here is my patch for gdevilspie (for making the python dictionnary to keep key order) : http://enialis.net/~jrd/gdevilspie-0.5.patch

Openbox already has this functionality built in, so an Openbox specific app may be better there ;)
