You're right, though launchy development seems quite sleepy now, according to last posts on its forum and I would need some developers help to achieve it.

@Akuna. Thanks ! But I'm quite lazy and still find easier to search for an application with the name I see for it in Xfce menu.

Bumping an old topic, but could somebody help me compiling this. I downloaded source from launchpad, found all the other dependencies but this was left:

No package 'gtkhotkey-1.0' found
I downloaded gtkhotkey from launchpad (https://launchpad.net/gtkhotkey), ran configure, make, make install, but that didn't help. How could I get this right?

did you check that gtkhotkey is properly compiled and installed?
