The stock libgpod slackware package doesn't include its python bindings, which are necessary for ipod support in Exaile. The problem is, I don't know hot to install those bindings from source! The --with-python=yes option passed to the configure script seems to do nothing at all.

If I try to compile libgpod I get this:

configure: WARNING: cannot find 'swig' program. You should look at http://www.swig.org

maybe that's what's missing.

What's weird is that the slackbuild doesnt disable python support, so i wonder how they built it without swig then?
