Hello everybody !
I am French, and I have made a subject in "Forum Français" about Rosegarden installation.
Not simple, cause of many dependances and packages which have to be installed.
But it works, finally !
I used 4 steps ("Etape" in french) : in the first one you can include several packages concerning sound (Alsa, oss, etc...) that I did not mentionned, and maybe I forgot one or two package/libraries, please be lenient !

Thanks, paradise -
Have been planning to test RoseGarden for a while. Google Translate does a decent job on the post, though with some puzzling / comical parts :

My favorite phrase is "in custody of GSlapt" which suggests the package being led away in handcuffs by gendarmes.
Well, "not 'easy as pie'" would make sense in English.
