Salix OS

Hi guys!

I am here to say hello and take a look at your nice new forum! I am looking forward to try Salix and guess I'll test it on my laptop soon! I expect great speed, performances and elegance, am I wrong?
I've just read some of the docs about packaging, and if I understand well I can use also my normal buildscripts instead of slkbuilds: you know, I'm from the old school...
If I have enough time I would willingly help by packaging some nice software... we'll see!
