This hls flaw may be already patched in 2.8.5 that was released yesterday.

That is probably not thought through. It does not matter when the latest version was patched. Salix has not the current version, but a much older. Therefore, one should be careful.

Sorry but the two articles are the same. Slashdot has flamebait commenting, where the other one doesn't, nothing new.
And yes I was not adressing the issue, but now the term "Zero-Day" has become pop. Please do not cry wolf to often..it will get worse in the future.
