Slackware does the same with it's source repo: http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackware-current/source/ And I think without categories it will get a real mess soon.

It's some kind of running gag here in Germany. Their slogan is "Bitte ein Bit!" which means "Please give me a Bit!". But you won't miss anything if you take a look at my rating
