I was interested to understand more about sourcery and where the packages were derived from. From my understanding salix uses sbo is this correct or do you use multiple repositories(slackpkg etc)?
I was asking djemos in the slackel forum about creating a script and checking for broken packages in sbo and he referred me to this thread sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=CAJEH%3DoEMLnR2-x0KfR3Rd9piKrhZkr_sHSMEGvngZeCkdp-Z8Q%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=salix-main.
I would like to understand better how this works so ultimately I can look at helping and if it can be replicated across more sources to incerase the already great salix repo's depth and quality.
Packages and Salix - fixing repositories
Re: Packages and Salix - fixing repositories
* Sourcery/slapt-src are using the http://slackbuilds.org/ repo and our own SLKBUIOLD repo: http://salix.enialis.net/slkbuild/
* Gslapt/slapt-get are using the Slackware repo (with added dep support) and our own package repo
We don't use any other third party repos!
