Gapan's udisks2 package for better mounting

I just spent ages searching for this. In 14.0, the file manager mounts other partitions in a /run directory, and this package tidies it up - though I'd still prefer to see "/media/disk" etc.

I agree. I find the "/run/media/username/device_name/" annoying. Hopefully gapan's package will be available in the slapt-get repository
