I don't have Salix installed on my computer anymore, but I'd still like to use it as my main Linux distro. It seemed like the program names where not what I was used to. When you want to do something, you have to click on each name (program) to find out what it is.

Is there a list or cheat sheet for the name of each program that comes with Salix and what it does?

Not that these programs come with Salix, but just an example of what I'm talking about;

GIMP- Image Editor
Brasero- Creat and Copy CD's or DVD's.
K3b- Disc Burning Software
Pidgin- Internet Messenger

Chris.
