Gnumeric look&feel

Post by jpg153 »

Hi all,

not sure if anyone has an idea on this one...
(Salix 14.1 64bit)
I installed Gnumeric from the repo and its amazingly fast, even on real huge files - better than any other spreadsheet app I tried so far.

However the menu looks quirky. Especially the pull down menu. The names are so close together that it is a bit tricky to find&click
the right menu entry.

It is not a show stopper, but if there is a tweak to optimize the window appearance, I would be happy to know.

Thanks.
Regards Gruß

Gapan,

honestly...I dont know... :?:

Looking in the settings I find "Xfce Saltlake" as Theme with "Gnome Human" icons.
But that obviously not what you are after...

Any hint what I need to look into?

It looks a bit the same when I run the dconf-editor or MenuLibre - they have the same "compressed" menu lines.

Thanks
Regards Gruß

From the menu go to Settings/Appearance. Select "Adwaita".
