Add Slint to Salix, just for fun.

How-to:
However, you will need to create a password for root as Slint doesn't use sudo and make other changes to be able to graphically start the apps in salixtools-gtk.
You get 5 more WMs, the Slint Control Center and a few additional apps at no additional cost
PS This is just for fun, don't do that in a production system...
- Install Salix XFCE 14.2 (I used the 64-bit x86_64 edition)
- In /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc, add this line:
Code: Select all
SOURCE=http://slackware.uk/slint/x86_64/slint-14.2/:CUSTOM
- Run spi -u
- Run slapt-get --install-set slint
- Run dotnew
- Add a new user (to get Slint customizations)
- Login as a new user.
