Does my laptop support Salix?

Post by icanttellyou »

I have an ASUS X541UAK with an Intel Core i3 6006U and with Intel HD Graphics 520. It also has a 15 inch 1920x1080 display.

Will Salix 14.2 work without any issues?

I have never tried installing Salix on that laptop, but from the specs, I don't think you'll have any issues.

I don't see any problems with any of my 1920x1080 monitors.

Maybe because you have a large enough display to not have DPI scaling. My laptop has a 15 inch 1920x1080 display. And Windows uses 125% scaling. I also tried Devuan XFCE but it did not scale anything.

You can always set a custom DPI value for fonts in the Xfce settings. Isn't that enough? Do you want all desktop widgets scaled?
