Im reasonably new to Slackware...and with SalixOS i feel my distro-hopping days are over,it getting under my skin pretty damn fast However i like to get a holistic play for the field and see what directions Slackware had taken and came across Davix http://www.secviz.org/node/89
I had been tweaking around with a Java-based visualisation utility called HASE http://www.icsa.informatics.ed.ac.uk/re ... userguide/ for a while now,and Davix piqued my interest,a Live CD based on Slax, although still active ,the distro is three years old, hence it has KDE 3.5,which is quite nice,it explains hankerings for Trinity...also though, within the menus it has an option to 'integrate' Backtrack http://www.backtrack-linux.org/ although these days Backtrack is sat on Ubuntu,it has a Slax history so it may,or may not work now?
I just thought it was nicely put together, and after years of looking its the only distro ive come across specialised in data visualisation on any platform!Im still a long way down the curve to fully utilise this Live CD..but for you seasoned testers, sysops and security geeks,if you wasnt already aware i thought Davix deserved a heads up

Hi,
Can you please use punctuations and make some space between paragraphs ?
Your posts, this one and the others, are not attractive to read. If you need help, it can be a problem.
