Unfortunately, the guidelines in that link won't wipe systemd for good. First, even if you remove systemd, libsystemd0 HAS to be installed, or even core libraries will have broken dependencies. Debian claims libsystemd0 is an inert dependency, but if that's true then why it has to be there in the first place... Second, several packages in Debian repos (some of them essential) depend on systemd directly or indirectly, so if you decide to stay on Debian you will have to blacklist them. And it's getting worse: every day more and more packages start to depend on systemd all of a sudden, after a system update, so you will have to blacklist them as well.

Using Debian and dodging systemd doesn't make much sense. I did it for more than one year, but Debian officially adopted systemd even in its "stable" version. The only way to get rid of systemd is to quit using Debian, if you ask me. That's what I did, at least. Salix is very good, afterall.

Or wait for Devuan if it ever comes out.

Some things will be uninstallable because of the nosystemd repo and packages otherwise as rock solid as Debian ever was and probably better, more stable
than Debian 8 and respins with systemd

I think with regards to systemd and GNU/Linux, people either need to use a distro that does not support it at all, or accept it either entirely or for the time being, until a fork or alternative is created.

Very good likelihood, that the future of *nix will be BSD, systemd/Linux and Linux/BSD userland. Devuan is most likely a fantasy at this point.
