Oh my god !
I upgraded someone's PC to this version and would like to install some apps in extra/
There are many applications dependancies files that are wrong. Some applications are even missing (bluez for example) from the repository and others are compiled against wrong libraries (python 2.5 for example but there is only python 2.6 in ZW 6.2).
J.P. always said that only "ISO" bother him, and that "extra" is not supported by himself. As his team has reduced drastically, we could see that the extra repo is quite unmaintained and not tested. Bad news :(

As far as I can understand the news, only packages were updated to newer versions, mainly.
Let's hope that slackware will package the "brand new" XFCE 4.6.2 fastly ...
My boot time is fast enough, thanks to hibernation.
