How can one determine if file system modules are enabled in Salix kernel before downloading distro? JFS.ko and HPFS.ko

Hello CalY,

welcome to this forum.

Both filesystems are provided, but hpfs as a module, not built-in the kernel, so it can't be used during installation.

Since we do use the same kernel as in Slackware, the answer for the question in general and for any module is in here:
http://slackware.uk/slackware/slackware ... e.s/config

Good to know you use Slackware same kernel. Slack alway had these modules, but Portues removed some in later versions. Salix looks very interesting.
Thank you!
