Alpha means that:
- it's working
- there may still be some tuning necessary
- some softwares may be added or remove from this ISO
- booting from CD or USB (using unetbootin)
- splashy like in the current ISO
- automatic login (user: "one")
- password for root: live
- some cheat codes
- ssh-keys already generated for root
- default sound to 71%
- all ISO packages
- gparted
- ndiswrapper
- rdesktop
- you can create xfs files for save changes
- X11 keyboard layout is not changed.
- error line when opening a terminal in XFCE.
- splashy seems to crash on shutdown/reboot.
- changes not tested an probably not working.
- lang= (fr_FR.utf8 for example)
- keyb= (fr-latin9 for example, only work in console for now, see known bugs)
- toram (copy all modules to RAM and eject the CD, you need a lot of RAM)
- changes= (file to use for changes. you can create one directly in the LiveCD)
- passwd= (to change root password)
- numlock= ("on" to enable numlock on boot)
- nosound (to disable sound)
- nohotplug (to disable udev)
- 3 (for example, to boot in runlevel 3, without graphical bootup)
