Post by ekbee »

Dear all,

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question.

I try to use sudo with password "live" but it failed.

then i try sudo password root, seem like root already have password, so i cannot set on my own.

I need root password to install/configure cups, so, can you please help? I try to search on this but nothing useful.

Thank you.

First of all: don't crosspost! It is considered to be rude. One post for your problem is enough. I deleted your other post.

There is a wiki page about how to enable the root user. A simple search will reveal it to you.

Thanks gapan. I will tru.

And sorry about that. Firstly, i think it should be posted here but think again that it should be "problem" than "live cd".
