Encrypted persitence file?

I am just getting started playing with the Salix Live ISO on a USB stick. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere and searching this forum came up with no results.

Is it possible to encrypt the persistence file where, presumably, any data written to the home directory would be stored?

Encryption of persistence file is not supported.
Any data changes, updates or installations are saved and are there after reboot.
To update the kernel read this

If you don't care about encrypting all files, a workaround for this would be using encfs to create an encrypted directory. Anything you put it that would be encrypted.

This is a new Salix Live xfce 14.2.1 which supports persistent file encryption. Kernel and programs included are the same with the live 14.2 iso.
Read the README_INSTALL_ON_USB.TXT
