Forum in Portuguese
Could have a forum in Portuguese !!
Re: Forum in Portuguese
I guess there isn't that many guys using Salix!
Re: Forum in Portuguese
I think there won't be much use of a forum without some active users in it. I mean users who are willing & able to give support.

I installed Salix in 3 or 4 boxes in a office room this week. By now there should be at least 10+ people using it.antmon wrote:I guess there isn't that many guys using Salix!
Re: Forum in Portuguese
I speak Portuguese fluently (I live in Brazil) and would be happy to contribute what I can. I haven't managed to get anybody here to use Salix, though!
Re: Forum in Portuguese
I liked having a Portuguese forum here. This would bring Portuguese-speaking users. Countries like Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Timor-Leste, Cabo Verde, São Tomé e Principe and Guiné-Bissau all speak Portuguese.

Hi hugok, many thanks for your relentless translation work on transifex.hugok wrote:I liked having a Portuguese forum here. This would bring Portuguese-speaking users. If enough users keep asking for it there are no reason why there shouldn't be a Portuguese forum
Anyone here would like to help moderate it & keep it alive?
What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.
Re: Forum in Portuguese
I'm a fluent Portuguese speaker (though my IT vocab is probably pretty patchy) since I've lived in Brazil for six years. I was going to offer to help before but thought my level of Linux knowledge was too low. But maybe as part of a team with one or two more experienced Lusophone users?
