which display manager is being used by default in Slackel-Mate 7.3 ?

Slim is the default Display manager. Slim configuration file is /etc/slim.conf
But there is also gdm installed ready to use it. There were some rendering font problems with gdm which is old.
To use gdm
sudo chmod 644 /usr/bin/slim
sudo init 3
and from there log in as user
and run sudo init 4
To use again slim if have font problems with gdm
sudo chmod 755 /usr/bin/slim
sudo init 3
log in as user
sudo init 4
