Thought I would say hi and that I'm really liking this distro

I had a question about security updates.

I'm on the slackware security mailing list and received a security update notification this morning. Do I need to do anything to update? or will the Salix updater notify me of any updates I need to worry about and I can just ignore the slackware notifications?

I hope that made sense....
I've been on the slackware mailing list for a long time from when I used it last but this is the 1st time I had received one using a slack based distro.

Hi clc77 and welcome.

You will receive an update notification, as soon as our slackware repository servers sync with the main ones, so you can update your system then.
