I understand that this is a problem with Salix-Live and I searched forum for an answer,
however, can't find any or I am not smart enough.
BTW installed Salix-xcfce4-13.37 on my desktop PC for testing and I am impressed.

Opened Live-xfce4 in 'HP-2133 Mini Note' and cannot connect with wireless.
Wired I can connect.

If your wireless card does in fact have a Broadcom BCM4312 chip then you could just install the b43-fwcutter package from the repository then create a b43-firmware package from the provided SLKBUILD (you need version 4.178.10.4).
It's fairly simple to do, instructions can be found in the README.Slackware file or you can read zAchAry's post here.
