Cmake and Salix OS 13.37
Cmake and Salix OS 13.37
It is interesting, why the package "Cmake" has not been included in ISO image of Salix OS 13.37?
Re: Cmake and Salix OS 13.37
We have a lot of dev tools on the iso, but we simply cannot have all of them.
Re: Cmake and Salix OS 13.37
In previous releases of the Salix OS the cmake was present.
Re: Cmake and Salix OS 13.37
And in 13.37 it's not because it is a 5 MB package.

From http://www.salixos.org/wiki/index.php/Home:
"All three installation modes come with a complete development environment, so users don't need to add anything to start developing and compiling applications."
And where is it?
Cmake often used to compile programs.

This sentence refer to the non-need to download a gtk-dev or a python-dev or a i-don-t-know-dev package for all the libraries and tools available in Slackware/Salix as opposed to way other distributions have choosen to do.
