KDE has announced its latest release 4.7, providing major updates to the KDE Plasma Workspaces, KDE Applications, and the KDE Platform that provides the foundation for KDE software. Version 4.7 provide many new features and improved stability and performance.

There was a change in kdmrc file, one change in salix-update-notifier (related to kdesu) and one in zzz-settings-slackel-kde where had to create a link (ln -s /sbin/mount.ntfs-3g /sbin/mount.ntfs) so ntfs partitions can be mounted read-write in dolphin.
