[SOLVED] Boot Broken

When I tried to boot this morning the machine hang with the following error:

fb: conflicting fb hw usage nouveaufb vs VESA VGA - removing generic driver 

I have not upgraded anything as of late except those suggested by gslapt.

This happens on both of my drives, the main one for Fluxbox and the minor for testing XFCE4, both 13.37.

I am now in Fluxbox Live.

Hope someone can help.

If your PC hangs it's not because of this. This is just information reported by the kernel, it's not a problem. The actual error might be further down. If you only upgraded packages and did nothing else, then it could only be a hardware problem.

The problem was the graphic card after all. I gave it now a good cleaning, fan, contacts, etc
and it worked right away. To play safe I will get a spare, just in case.
