Or maybe what is meant is that slacky.eu packages maybe 'safe' to install but not always feasible (due to looser packaging rules)?

He meant the only really good Slackware repo is the Salix repo :mrgreen:

After having some problems with dependencies from slack.eu I only download them and install them with installpkg.

I have got other repositorys in my /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc
like

SOURCE=http://rlworkman.net/pkgs/13.0/
SOURCE=http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/

but I first do "slapt-get -s -i packagename" to simulate.
