Installing Jappix Mini at the Salix Homepage (about/main wiki pages of all languages) and at the Salix Forum pages.

Jappix is good, but it should be linked to our jabber room...or it's useless.

Of course, and so it is at the website https://project.jappix.com/ . It would be nice to embed it in the forum.

Test drive with Jappix Mini chat window to join our chat room: http://----------.de/ (see the down right corner). This one is hosted by the Jappix.com jabber servers.

EDIT: now the jabber service is hosted by one of my servers...
EDIT2: test drive now is included in the forum. Link removed. Hosted by the Jappix server again.

The problem I have noticed so far: joining/leaving the chat room produces a lot of long notification messages in the chat room, which is very annoying for users of desktop jabber clients (Pidgin/Gajim) in the same room. These notifactions don't show up in Jappix mini. Example:
(11:38:02) thenktor-forum hat den Raum verlassen.
(11:38:14) thenktor-forum [22242597411341394691509615@anonymous.jappix.com/Jappix Mini (1341394793465)] hat den Raum betreten.
I don't know if these notifications can be supressed by the jabber server.

Try this: Actions > Join Group Chat > Manage Bookmarks > Select your bookmarked Salix channel > Print status: None Done!

The floating chat bubble is consuming too much of CPU!

IMHO this needs to be done by a server/chatroom setting, not in every user's client. Especially because not all clients provide these settings.
