Hello,
How can I prepare a repository of additional packages I need to install on a fresh Salix install on a CD/DVD so that I can use Gslapt to install from that repository instead of connecting to the internet?
This would be very useful when the internet connection is very slow.
Thanks for your help.

You should be able to set up a local repository following those instructions:
http://software.jaos.org/git/slapt-get/ ... l#slgFAQ17
Then just burning it to CD and pointing slapt-get at it on the mounted cdrom should do exactly what you want.
