Re: Salix is the FASTEST linux ever
You've got a few things slowing you down there.
udev and HAL are taking an enormous amount of time to load and there is a lot of trouble with at least one USB device.
I'd try unplugging all the USB devices (particularly storage devices) that you don't need at boot time.
Then you probably won't have time to pat the cat during the boot sequence.
You might also want to look at the more recent Salix 14.0.1 releases.

Re: Salix is the FASTEST linux ever
I have this PCI usb card http://www.conceptronic.net/download_li ... ductid=377 .
Anyway i tried other distros like Trisquel and Antix and even Tiny Core, and all of them boots fast ..., specially Trisquel.
I don't like the idea of plug and unplug every time my USB's flash memorys...

Is this supposed to be irony? You're not winning any points for it. I'm expecting an apology in your next post.
In any case, that video shows one thing clearly: you have serious hardware issues.

I don't see an apology in there. You're banned for a week for being a smartass.
