I totally agree with the deep arguments of Slackware versus Debian. But the way it is said resemble like FUD.
Debian's a good distro, and the guy doesn't seems to know the advantages.
The two distributions do not have the same goal !!! And that's the point.
The second article is even worse. Just some guys who cannot stand the success of Ubuntu.
It's a pity because through these articles, there are good ideas and true things. But it's really bad written.
