I recently purchased a state of the art Asus USB3 dual-band wireless adapter to go with my shiny new fibre broadband. There is no kernel module to make this work so I had to install a Linux driver available from Asus support. Using some make install Penn&Telleration I got it to work in Salix and was therefore a happy bunny. Using the same driver and method for other distros I have installed didn't work and I had to experiment long and hard using Git repository drivers until the black beast kicked into life.

Therefore, I conclude Salix is the dog's doodahs!
