I already notified the Slackbuild maintainer for this program, however, I wanted to see if we could also correct the problem on our end by redirecting the source file to the new location.
If you follow the current source link http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepassx/files/ you will see the message "This project has no files".
https://www.keepassx.org/news/2015/12/551 shows an update for 0.4 series.
https://www.keepassx.org/releases/0.4.4 ... 4.4.tar.gz perhaps we could redirect to the update?
update:
I modified the SlackBuild script and installed the update manually.

Re: Keepassx slackbuild
Unless we completely override the slackbuild with one of our own, we cannot just replace the source URL. If you already alerted the slackbuild maintainer, I guess it's going to be fixed sooner or later. If the maintainer doesn't respond, better inform the SBo mailing list about the issue.

Hi Gapan,
I just notified the Slackbuild mailing list as well.

Re: Keepassx slackbuild
Received a response from Willy at Slackbuilds, it is now corrected and points to the update.

Re mark solved: I think you can do that yourself by editing the topic title in your original post.
