wicd template for wpa2-aes ??

I don't think wicd has the right options for connecting to wpa aes. Has anyone found a way to do this? Perhaps a new template?

It might help if you could be more specific about what your setup is, and exactly what you tried, and what happened. It may also be the problem doesn't lie with the aes aspect. It may be worth trying Network Manager or whatever it is called - though wicd tends to work better in most cases, or just as well.

EDIT

Having just googled it, AES seems to be the standard WPA2 encryption these days, so I very much doubt Wicd would have a problem with it.

WPA1/2-Passphrase should work, if you enter your password correctly.
