List of install-set(s) available

Post by rsal »

I believe some groups of packages can be installed using 'slapt-get --install-set <name>' command, eg mate desktop and x. Where can I get a list of such sets available? Also, can I also remove such group of packages with one command? Thanks.

These are just the names of directories in the repositories. For example: slackware/l, slackware/xap, salix/l, salix/xap, or just l and xap for both. Try using them with the --simulate option and see what's going on.

Ah, and no, you cannot remove sets of packages, as you would install them.
