Remember that third party Slackware binary packages ans Slackbuilds assume a full Slackware install, which Salix is not. So when you use package managers that are not part of Salix (e.g Gslapt, slapt-get, Sourcery, slapt-src, and spi), then you should expect dependency issues, both during package building and at run-time.
