Re: Sometimes, not always, my computer crashes when I run fi
What video drivers are you using? If you're using the open source driver, try the proprietary driver from nvidia.
Re: Sometimes, not always, my computer crashes when I run fi
Hi Gapan,
Thank you for your answer.
I'm trying to install propietary driver from nvidia (nvidia-driver version 352.63) but I get the following error:
Creating directory NVIDIA-Linux-x86-352.63
Verifying archive integrity... OK
Uncompressing NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86 352.63...............................................................................................................................................................................
NVIDIA: calling KBUILD...
make: *** /lib/modules/3.10.17-smp/build: No existe el fichero o el directorio. Alto.
NVIDIA: left KBUILD.
nvidia.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Error 1
fakeroot -- sh nvidia-kernel.SlackBuild Error

Re: Sometimes, not always, my computer crashes when I run fi
Hi Gapan,
Thank you for your answer.
I did what you wrote, I'm trying it. I think I'ts OK.
I installed the driver NVIDIA-Linux-X86-304.131.run.
I got the instructions from: https://docs.salixos.org/wiki/How_to_In ... DIA_driver
I got the driver from: http://la.nvidia.com/download/driverRes ... x/95179/la
The following link http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us is atool to search the drivers.
