I have been using Mageia for about two years and it was working great. However, with the recent upgrade of Mageia to Mageia 9, my iMac has been having issues (getting stuck at times) and had to do hard reboot several times in a week.
I have already used Salix for few years and I am trying to get back to Salix again as this is a rock solid distro. I have a question though. My current partitioning scheme is as shown below.
Code: Select all
one[~]$ sudo fdisk -l Password: Disk /dev/sda: 465.76 GiB, 500107862016 bytes, 976773168 sectors Disk model: Samsung SSD 850 Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disklabel type: gpt Disk identifier: 9B317E43-04D1-443D-8B5E-14DEC97BA80F Device Start End Sectors Size Type /dev/sda1 2048 2099199 2097152 1G EFI System /dev/sda2 2099200 157573119 155473920 74.1G Linux filesystem /dev/sda3 157573120 976773119 819200000 390.6G Linux filesystem
Can someone answer?
Thanks in advance.
