Zathura from SlackBuilds on a fresh install of Salix 15.0

No doubt this is overkill, but it fixed my problem. Plus I got a few upgraded packages in the process,

Issue:

From Salix repo:

• zathura

• zathura-mupdf

• zathura-cb

Zathura would not load any pages, and would only produce a black screen.

Error:

libmupdf.so.118: cannot open shared object file

Steps:

Removed installed packages

• mupdf
  girara
  jbig2dec

Installed sbopkg

Set POPPLER="no" in the zathura slackbuild.

Installed from Salix 15.0 repository:
